PRIME Minister Gordon Brown has come to the rescue of a Dudley school offering up a prized tipple for their fundraising auction.
Castle High School's auction has been boosted by a House of Commons bottle of whisky signed by Mr Brown.
Other items up for grabs include a signed Wolves football, driving lessons, tickets to Dudley Zoo and a jar of Teddy Grays sweets.
The sale, organised by the school's Association, will take place on Wednesday November 28 at the St James Road school from 7pm. A viewing session will take place from 6.30pm on the night.
All proceeds will go to raise cash for the students' educational needs.
Hilary Roberts, chair of Castle High School Association, said: "We have also had lots of donations from staff, pupils and committee members including antiques, collectors items, toys, games and many items suitable for Christmas gifts."
