RESIDENTS have been reminded that they still have time to contribute to a permanent covid snake feature in a Flintshire town.

Mold Town Council recently invited people to share their contributions to the forthcoming feature.

Jane Evans, Mold Town Council events and community engagement officer, said she is to collect the stones which are part of the existing snakes around the town on Friday in order to preserve them.

"We have had some new contributions," she said. "But we're asking people who want to get involved to wrap up their painted stones and drop them off either at the Daniel Owen Centre or through the town hall letterbox.

"Where the feature goes will depend on how many contributions we have. "You can drop off your stones throughout August."
