SIR – I am appalled at  Worcestershire County Council’s decision to prevent Amazon opening a “huge” distribution warehouse in Worcester, but seeing fit to allow a smaller regional building in Redditch.

The reason given for rejection was” low-tech, probably zero hours” jobs – is this not the case in Redditch too? Double standards comes to mind.

Having said that, I really shouldn’t be surprised at this council’s ineptitude judging by the continued traffic chaos within Worcester city also I believe the responsibility of the county council.
