A STUDENT and staff member at Dudley College have tested positive for Covid-19.
An alert on the college's website said: "We have two confirmed cases of coronavirus across all Dudley College campuses.
"One is a student at the Evolve campus, the other is a staff member at the Construction Apprentice Training (CAT) Centre.
"We wish them a swift recovery.
"All necessary steps to ensure the safety of other learners and staff have been taken.
"We are reporting all cases to Dudley Council and Public Health England and acting on their advice in all matters."
All staff, students and visitors are asked to wear face coverings on site when walking through corridors, communal areas and courtyard entrances.
A further statement put on the website today (Tuesday September 15) read: "We currently have a small number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported at Dudley College.
"All staff and students affected by these cases have been informed and the necessary action taken.
"If you have not been contacted by Public Health England or the College then you are not determined to be at risk and should attend college as normal."
