A MAN who assaulted and stabbed a lorry driver on the outskirts of Whitchurch will be sentenced next month.
Conor Jagodzinski, 28, from Accrington, pleaded guilty to section 20 causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article, namely a six-inch knife in relation to the incident at Wirswall, outside Whitchurch, on Friday, August 14 when he appeared at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday.
Judge Patrick Thompson applied the same bail conditions as imposed at Jagodzinki's first appearance at Warrington Magistrates Court – he must live at an address in Northfield Road, Rising Bridge, Accrington, and not operate any motor vehicle or enter Cheshire, unless it is for court or solicitors appointments.
Judge Thompson also called for a pre-sentence report ahead of sentencing on Thursday, October 15.
