A DEESIDE gym is putting on free live online classes as part of National Fitness Day.

Energie Fitness in Queensferry will mark the the day on Wednesday (September 23) is giving members and non-members free access to an extended programme of live online classes for one day only.

From a relaxing morning pilates class to a challenging lunch-time burn and a fast-paced evening HIIT class, Energie’s team of experts from across its UK gyms will take the classes and expect to see thousands of people join online.

Energie Fitness - the original founders of National Fitness Day in 2011 - aims to get 50,000 people active this year.

The fitness-focussed day is celebrated by gyms, schools, fitness studios, celebrities and individuals across the country and offers a chance to highlight the important role physical activity plays in daily life, and raise awareness around the importance of leading a healthier and more active lifestyle.
