TWO teenagers were still fighting for their lives in hospital today (Thursday) after a horror crash which claimed the lives of two 16-year-old girls and a 21-year-old man.

A man, aged 18, and a girl, aged 16, were critically injured in the crash in which a Skoda Fabia hit a tree in Bromley Lane, Kingswinford, on Tuesday night.

Driver Joshua Parkes, aged 21, died at the scene of the horrific collision along with rear seat passenger Lucy Tibbetts and another teenaged girl, also 16, who has not been named.

The two injured teens were taken to the region’s major trauma centre – the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham – where they have been receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries.

West Midlands Police said last night that the 18-year-old man, believed to be Nathan Cartwright, was in a critical condition; and the teenaged girl, named on social media as Izzie Ramsell, was in a stable condition.

Today police confirmed their conditions remained unchanged.

Anyone with any information about the crash, who saw the Skoda driving in the area or who may have captured anything on dash cam footage, is urged to contact police via Live Chat online or to call 101, quoting log 4469 of October 13.
