IN honour of International Gin & Tonic Day - intu Merry Hill is today (Monday October 19) celebrating all things gin-related at its independent stores and eateries.

At Dr Eamer’s Distillery on The Waterfront, visitors can enjoy a bite to eat with 20 different flavours of gin – made on-site or at the nearby Dr Eamer’s distillery – including the multi award-winning Dr Eamer’s Signature Dry Gin. There are also gin tasting experiences and pairings with Black Country tapas.

Meanwhile - at new independent store Chuckling Cheese, which sells a range of artisan gins along with its array of cheeses, biscuits and coffees at its lower mall outlet, there are a variety of flavoured gins to try including Finders Fruits of the Forest Gin and a Finders Lemon and Lime Gin. There’s also a gin-infused Botanist Gin & Tonic Cheddar too.

Duncan Burns, marketing manager at intu Merry Hill, said: “We’re proud to be home to these up and coming independent stores and eateries and International Gin & Tonic Day is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase the unique products that they offer.

“We continue to work hard to ensure the safety of everyone at the centre and our teams are actively reminding our visitors that they must follow the latest government guidelines by wearing a face covering, keeping their distance and washing their hands regularly.

"We’d like to thank our shoppers for doing their part in following these guidelines and help keeping everyone safe.”
