BROMSGROVE Library is inviting children to go batty this half-term in time for Halloween.

Parents looking for ways to keep children entertained this week can take a trip to the library to find some spooky books and pick up a Bat Attack activity sheet.

The library has several steps for customers to follow when they are visiting, in order to keep the building COVID secure.

Youngsters will be able to colour in the pictures or add their own haunted twist to the Bat Attack and make a collage of the bats, cats and pumpkins.

Councillor Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member for Communities, said: “This half-term families can enjoy themselves with Halloween themed activities.

"There’s plenty of spooky books to borrow at our libraries and lots of fun to be had a home with our Bat Attack activity sheet.

“It’s ideal creative entertainment for young families, particularly if the weather isn’t kind to us this holiday.”

Everyone who enters the Bat Attack competition will receive a prize. The overall winner will also get a special prize.

Families returning their entries to the library are reminded to put their contact details on the back of their Bat Attack creations.
