A WITNESS appeal has been launched by a police after a cyclist was allegedly assaulted by a motorist in Kidderminster.
Police received a report that a driver of a grey VW Golf assaulted a cyclist in Exchange Street on Wednesday (October 28).
The assault happened at around 2.30pm and the cyclist suffered minor bruising and was left "shook up" by the incident.
Officers investigating the incident are now appealing for witnesses to come forwards.
In a post on Facebook, Wyre Forest Police said: "Did you see an incident occur on Exchange Street, Kidderminster, yesterday October 28 at around 2:30pm where it is alleged the driver of a grey VW Golf assaulted a cyclist?
"The cyclist sustained minor bruising and was left "shook up".
"If so, please call 101 and quote incident number 00509_I_28102020."
