AN UPPER Gornal road will be closed for three weeks while gas mains are replaced.
Hermit Street will close from its junction with Alderwood Rise to Holloway Street, from Monday November 23 to Friday December 11.
The road is home to Ruiton Church.
The alternative route for traffic will be via Holloway Street, Ruiton Street, Five Ways, Robert Street, Jews Lane, Kent Street, Pale Street, Rock Street and vice-versa.
Access will be maintained where safe.
Dudley Council said the closure is to safely facilitate low pressure gas mains replacement.
