A BOY and a man were taken to hospital after a car crashed into parked cars in Netherton.

The youngster was a passenger in the car which hit parked cars in Lea Bank Road yesterday (Tuesday November 17).

Medics attended the scene just after 6am.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 6.07am to Lea Bank Road in Dudley.

"Three ambulances, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended to find a car which had collided with parked cars.

"The driver, a man, was out of the vehicle and was given treatment on scene for injuries before being taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further checks.

"A passenger, a boy, was also given treatment on scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance crews."
