A PLAN to turn a Brockmoor shop premises into flats has been withdrawn.
An application to create two new flats on the ground floor of the former designated shop premises in the High Street had been lodged with Dudley Council’s planning department.
A number of residents living nearby had objected to the proposal saying it would add to traffic problems in the High Street and there would not be sufficient parking for two proposed two-bedroom flats.
Highways chiefs also gave the thumbs down to the scheme – and yesterday (November 18) it was confirmed it had been withdrawn.
