HEARTLESS thieves made off with jewellery belonging to the recently deceased after ram-raiding a funeral directors in Pensnett.
West Midlands Police are investigating the incident which happened in High Oak, at JW Marsh Funeral Directors, just before midnight on November 17.
A spokesman for the force said: "Burglars forced their way into the building before fleeing with cash and jewellery from a safe."
One man said on social media that his mother's wedding rings were among items stolen.
No-one at the funeral directors was available for comment at time of publishing this article.
Police say enquiries are underway and anyone with information is urged to contact officers via Live Chat, or call 101, and quote crime reference number 20DY/283805M/20.
