POLICE have seized two off-road bikes after catching the riders as they approached a Pensnett nature reserve.

Officers from Brierley Hill Police Station spotted the bikes being driven on Vicarage Lane, Pensnett, earlier today (Tuesday December 1) and managed to detain the riders as they approached nearby Barrow Hill Local Nature Reserve.

Dudley PC Jamie Follows said: "Both bikes have now been seized and the riders have been reported to court for the offences." 

The riders, aged 21 and 14, have been reported to court for driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence following the incident which happened at around 1.30pm in an area where off-road bikes are prohibited.
