THE trial of three men charged with the crossbow murders of Khuzaimah Douglas and Waseem Ramzan, began today (Wednesday January 20).

Khuzaimah, 19, and Waseem, 36, were shot with a crossbow in Pensnett Road, Brierley Hill, on February 20 last year.

Waseem’s own brother Saghawat Ramzan, his nephew, Omar Ramzan, and Mohammed Sagheer are charged with their murders.

The prosecution opened its case today.

The trial is being held at Wolverhampton Crown Court and is expected to last around four weeks.
