A SECOND man has been charged in connectrion with the killing of Mohammed Haroon Zeb in Dudley.

Akarsh Tasleem was arrested on Wednesday (February 17) and subequently charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The 25-year-old, of Shaw Road, Dudley was remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (February 19).

Mr Zeb, known as Haroon, was shot in Queens Cross during the early hours of January 31 and later died in hospital.

Detective Chief Inspector Jim Munro, from West Midlands Police homicide team, said: "This is still a very active investigation and I would continue to appeal to anyone with information who has not yet come forward to get in touch.

"Our thoughts remain with Mr Zeb’s family who continue to be supported by specialist officers. We’re determined to get answers and justice for them."

23-year-old Hassan Tasleem appeared at court last week charged with Haroon’s murder and remanded until his next appearance.

As part of the investigation a 26-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and three men - aged between 19 to 26 - were previously detained on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. They have all been bailed.

A 37-year-old man was previously arrested on suspicion of murder but has since been released with no further action, another man, aged 20 has also been arrested and released on bail.
