A £1.1MILLION dream home is up for grabs in a charity raffle that will raise money for Dudley's Beacon Centre.

For a £5 ticket you could win Orleton House – a six-bedroomed family property on the border of Shropshire and Herefordshire.

The homeowner, businessman Tim Page, has decided to move on after renovating the property which dates back to the 1580s and comes with more than one acre of gardens and even a tennis court.

He says he wanted to give someone an opportunity to win the historic home, mortgage free with all legal costs paid, while raising money for the Beacon Centre For the Blind, which has sites in Sedgley and Stourbridge, and at least one other charity.

The house, which comes with an open plan kitchen, real fires, oak flooring and six large bedrooms, is located in the village of Orleton, within easy reach of Ludlow.
