A WOMAN had to be freed from her car by firefighters after a crash in Lower Gornal.
The accident happened in Summer Lane yesterday evening (Saturday February 27).
Police and medics also attended the scene, with the woman taken to hospital.
Firefighters from Dudley fire station, who attended the incident and had to cut the doors and roof off the car to free the lady, tweeted to warn people to take care while driving due to the low sun and possible ice as temperatures drop at night.
