TWO men have appeared in court in connection with the killing of Dudley taxi firm boss Mohammed Haroon Zeb.

Choudhary Naheim Rashid, aged 47, of Kingswinford Road, Dudley, appeared before before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court last Thursday (February 25) charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the death of Mr Zeb who was gunned down on his doorstep in Queen's Cross on January 31.

A 21-year-old Dudley man has also been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Mr Zeb, who ran Midland Taxis in Brierley Hill.

Choudhary Akeel Hussain, from Brook Street, Dudley, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Friday February 26 charged with conspiracy to murder.

Both Rashid and Hussain were remanded in custody to await trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court where a hearing has been scheduled for March 19.

A post mortem showed 39-year-old dad Mr Zeb died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Police have previously charged 23-year-old Hassan Tasleem, of Richmond Road, Dudley, with murder and 25-year-old Akarsh Tasleem, of Shaw Road, Dudley, with conspiracy to commit murder and they are now awaiting trial.

A total of 10 people have now been arrested in connection with the shooting.
