A MAN linked by police to Dudley has been placed on the sex offenders' register for five years and remanded for two further offences.

Daniel Davies, aged 37, from Guildford Close, Worcester, was found guilty of sexual assault, assault, theft, criminal damage and outraging public decency at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, April 12. 

Davies was added to the sex offenders’ register for five years, ordered to pay £1,979 in compensation, £500 court costs and £95 victim surcharge on top of receiving a community order and restraining order.

On the April 15, whilst at court, Davies was also arrested, charged and remanded for the offences of false imprisonment and assault. He has also been served with a non-molestation order and a Prohibited Steps Order.

It came after a police appeal to locate Davies on March 31 in which his links to Worcester and Dudley were highlighted.
