A PUBLIC right of way at Saltwells Nature Reserve, Netherton, will be closed for two weeks from this Sunday (May 3) while work to stabilise mine workings takes place.
Highways bosses say alternative routes for users of the public right of way are available and will be provided. while the path is temporarily closed from Monday May 3 to Monday May 17.
The route will be closed approximately 25 metres east of Pedmore Road to approximately 130 metres east of Pedmore Road while the work to carry out the safe stabilisation of mine workings takes place.
Work to fix a subsiding footway in the vicinity was carried out earlier in the year.
