POLICE seized a car after a high speed chase through Wordsley.
Officers from Brierley Hill Police Station gave chase earlier today (May 10) at around 1pm after a car failed to stop for police on patrol and raced off at speed, overtaking vehicles.
After a pursuit, the driver abandoned the car - a black Honda Civic - and fled on foot.
Officers, however, caught up with him and he was arrested in Lower Valley Road, Brierley Hill, on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop.
The car was seized under the Road Traffic Act and the man was taken into custody and later charged with driving offences.
