Teenager arrested after stolen car crashes into car and garden in Upper Gornal
POLICE have arrested a teenager on suspicion of car theft after a stolen car was involved in a crash in Upper Gornal at the weekend.
A Vauxhall Corsa collided with a BMW before crashing into the garden of a property in Highgate just after 11am on Sunday June 6.
The driver of the BMW was not seriously hurt and the driver of the Corsa fled the scene.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We found the Corsa had been stolen in Dudley overnight between May 30 and 31 and enquiries led us to arrest a 15-year-old boy from Upper Gornal on Monday morning.
"He's been questioned on suspicion of car theft and released under investigation while enquiries continue."
