A MAN from Lye has been handed a community order after stealing supermarket goods to the value of £77.92 belonging to Wilkinsons.

Leighton Homer of High Street was subject to a conditional discharge whilst committing the theft after stealing goods from Tesco at Oldswinford on December 26, 2020.

The 33-year-old was ordered to pay £135 in costs and to pay a victim surcharge of £95.
