PROPOSALS for council houses on former garage site in Dudley have been submitted to planners.
Dudley Council wants to build three houses on the site on Corporation Road.
The terraced homes would be two-bedroom and would be rented out to council tenants.
Plans show two parking spaces for each property, to the side of the homes..
A design and access statement notes: "The intention is to create a high-quality residential development on this brownfield infill site off Corporation Road, which will deliver much needed new affordable rented homes that achieve high levels of long-term sustainability, meet the needs and expectations of the local community and sensitively respond to the surrounding context to create a small, attractive residential development.
"The site currently accommodates a single dilapidated lock up garage located at the eastern end of the site.
"Further garages were across the whole frontage of the site historically, but based upon historical mapping records, these were demolished over the past few years."
The application will be considered by planners.
