A MAN has died after an incident in Kingswinford in the early hours.
West Midlands Ambulance Service has confirmed a man was taken to hospital early this morning and despite resuscitation efforts he died shortly afterwards.
Police have closed off Barnett Lane today and enquiries are being carried out.
West Midlands Police have not yet commented on the incident but a spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We were called at 4.48am to Barnett Lane, Kingswinford.
"An ambulance and paramedic officer arrived to find police performing CPR on a man in cardiac arrest.
"Ambulance staff took over resuscitation efforts and the man was conveyed on blue lights to Russells Hall Hospital where sadly he was confirmed dead a short time later."
