A NEW family-run bath bomb shop has opened in Dudley.
Scent from Dudley opened in the Churchill Shopping Centre on Saturday (August 21).
The shop, which is next to Little Italy and Bodycare, is run by sister and brother-in-law Julie Burford and Paul Heard.
After trading in West Bromwich for the past two years under the name WestBomb, Julie and Paul and a team of two staff wanted to move to a bigger shop in their local town.
Paul, aged 50, said: "We are looking forward to bringing bath bombs, wellbeing and aromatherapy to the town.
"After the past year our shop will be a relaxing sanctuary for the people of Dudley and encourage self care and relaxation with a bit of fun thrown in too.’
"The opening day on Saturday was great - people were queueing up outside.
"We planned to give away 53 free bath bombs, but ended up giving away 100. We had really good feedback."
Julie, aged 58, is married to Paul's brother with the pair having worked together for years, previously in the Queens Square shopping Centre in West Brom.
The shop sells Bomb Cosmetic bath bombs which are handmade in Bournemouth as well as aromatherapy and well-being gifts.
