A MAN has died after a crash between a car and coach near Himley.
The driver of the car was found in a critical condition by medics, who were called to Tom Lane in Bobbington, at around 4.40pm yesterday afternoon (September 8).
Despite medic's best efforts to save the man, he died at the scene.
The driver of the coach was assessed and discharged at the scene, where two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford also attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival we discovered the car driver, a man, in a critical condition.
“Crews immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite their best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“The driver of the coach, a man, was assessed and discharged at the scene.”
