HIGHWAYS chiefs have issued a temporary road closure order for Church Hill in Brierley Hill for street lighting works to be carried out.
The road, between Church Street and the eastern boundary of number 1 Church Hill, will be closed to traffic on Monday September 13 while the works are carried out.
For the duration of the restriction, the one-way order that applies to Seagers Lane will be suspended and traffic will be managed with stop/go boards.
The alternative route for traffic will be via Seagers Lane, Bell Street, Moor Street, High Street, Church Street, and vice versa.
Access to properties and for emergency services will be maintained where safe.
