A WOMAN from Halesowen has been fined after drink driving.

Sharon Crowley of Brook Road drove an Audi on Masters Lane before a positive breath test showed she had consumed 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The 61-year-old was fined £300, ordered to pay £135 in costs and disqualified from driving for 14 months.

A man from Dudley has also been fined after drink driving.

Malcolm Hinton of Sudeley Gardens drove a Vauxhall Astra on Halesowen Road before a positive breath test showed he had consumed 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The 63-year-old was fined £300, disqualified from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay £135 in costs.

A man from Rowley Regis has been handed a community order after assaulting an individual.

Steven Rogers of Peckover Close was ordered to comply with rehabilitation activity set by a responsible officer.

The 35-year-old must also pay £135 in compensation.

Meanwhile, a man from Cradley Heath has been handed a community order after assaulting two emergency workers.

Rajesh Dua of Mossvale Close assaulted two paramedics by beating at Grange Hill, Halesowen.

The 49-year-old must comply with rehabilitation activity set by a responsible officer for up to 20 days.

Dua must also pay £150 in compensation.

A man has been handed a jail term of 10 weeks suspended for 18 months after failing to provide a breath specimen in Oldbury.

Amarjit Singh of Sycamore Road, Tipton failed to provide a breath specimen after being suspected of committing an offence whilst driving. 

The 42-year-old was disqualified from driving for 30 months and ordered to pay £128 to fund victim services and pay £135 in costs.
