POLICE are reappealing for witnesses after a man died in a coach crash at Halfpenny Green.
The collision, involving a blue Jeep Renegade and a coach, took place at around 4.45pm on the afternoon of Wednesday September 8.
The driver of the car, named by police as 28-year-old Simon Harris, suffered serious injuries and, despite the efforts of medical staff, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the coach, a silver single decker, was assessed by the ambulance service at the scene.
Police have now issued an appeal to find the driver of a blue van who stopped and offered assistance.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers are in the process of tracing witnesses to this collision and are keen to hear from the driver of a blue van, who stopped and helped at the scene."
Witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage should call Staffordshire Police on 101 or email ciu@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk, quoting incident number 582.
