POLICE in Dudley have taken the weapons pictured off the streets and arrested 12 people for burglary, robbery, fraud, possessing offensive weapons and assault over the month.
They have recovered weapons including a machete, knuckle dusters and a taser as well as seizing 29 uninsured vehicles, ten of which were stolen, during September.
The C Team Response in Dudley has been going on patrol with teams from traffic, response and dog units to seek out criminals.
A team spokesman said: "As we near the end of September I thought I would update with you regarding some of the work Dudley town Neighbourhood team have conducted this month.
"In addition to our normal duties we have been undertaking additional proactive patrols working with colleagues from various departments, including traffic, response and dogs.
"In total we have seized 29 uninsured vehicles from our roads (10 of which were stolen).
"We have arrested 12 individuals as a direct result of our patrols for offences of burglary, robbery, fraud, possessing offensive weapons and assault.
"We have conducted 30 stop and searches of people and vehicles.
"We have recovered the pictured weapons from our streets which include a machete, knuckle dusters and a taser knuckle duster.
"We have responded to multiple emergency incidents including burglaries and road traffic collisions.
"We have reported numerous drivers for driving offences including failing to stop, driving without insurance and driving without due care and attention.
"We will be conducting more proactive patrols throughout October targeting criminals in our area."
