A 46-YEAR-old man has been arrested after 31 cannabis plants were discovered in Pensnett.

Officers discovered the plants at a property in Rookery Park this morning (October 6).

The plants and growing equipment were seized by police.

The man, who was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, remains in police custody.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis after 31 plants were seized from a property on Rookery Park, Dudley this morning (6 October).

"He remains in police custody.
