JESTERS and knights will be coming to Dudley Market this December for a medieval themed celebration.
Dudley’s regular market traders will be joined by a host of medieval themed entertainers on December 11 and 12.
The event, organised by Tudor Markets and Dudley Council, will see entertianment take place across the weekend, including displays of knights in battle, demonstrations of weaponry and armour, medieval medicine and joking jesters.
Regular stalls will be joined by additional food stalls to get Christmas shoppers into the festive spirit.
Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for enterprise and regeneration, said: "We’re really excited to be working with Tudor to provide this unique two-day event. It’s really important that we support our town centre businesses and traders and this Medieval spectacular should prove a real draw for shoppers and families.
"We’ve made sure that entertainment varies every day so it’s definitely worth a repeat trip. We hope that people will support the event and the local businesses and traders who turn up week in, week out to provide such a valuable service to our communities."
