A GORNAL street will be closed for nearly three weeks while gas main replacement works are carried out.
A temporary closure order has been issued for South Oval, between High Gate and Green Hill Road, from today (Monday November 22) until Friday December 10.
The alternative route for traffic on South Oval will be via North Oval, South Oval, Green Hill Road, Badger Street, Kent Street, and High Gate.
An alternative route for motorists on Quarry Brow will be via Quarry Brow, Valley Road, Clarence Street, High Gate, and vice versa.
The closure has been scheduled to enable workmen to complete gas main replacement work safely.
