WORCESTER Warriors' game against Newcastle has been postponed due to Storm Arwen.
Warriors were set to play their away game on Friday night in the Gallagher Premiership, but the game has been postponed.
It will instead be played on Saturday, November 27, kicking off at 6pm, by which point the weather in the north east is hoped to be calmer.
A Warriors spokesman said: "Warriors fully support the decision to postpone tonight’s Gallagher Premiership match against Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park owing to severe weather conditions in the North East.
"The safety of all – spectators, staff and players – comes first in making these decisions. A Met Office issued a Red Warning has been issued for the region ahead of the arrival of Storm Arwen. The warning advises against unnecessary travel and also of the potential threat to life."
