HIGHWAYS chiefs have issued a temporary closure order for Woodland Avenue, Dudley, while works to try to prevent flooding are carried out.
The road will be closed between Chestnut Avenue and Pagnel Drive, from Monday January 17 until Sunday January 30.
Traffic will be diverted via Chestnut Avenue, Somery Road, Forest Road, Woodland Avenue, and vice versa.
The road closure has been ordered to enable flood alleviation works to go ahead safely.
Access to properties and for emergency services will be maintained where safe.
