THE Ryemarket Shopping Centre remains closed following the stabbing of two teenagers in Stourbridge.
It is believed the teens were stabbed in a lift at the Ryemarket car park at around 5.30pm yesterday (March 15).
They were rushed to hospital following the incident, which saw emergency services flood the town.
The majority of the shopping centre is closed while police investigations continue.
The adjoining multi-storey car park is also closed.
Stores remaining open include Coffee#1 (access from High Street only); Boots (access from High Street only); Iceland (access from High Street only) and PDSA (access from High Street only).
Pump Gyms is open as normal but parking is unavailable at the council car park.
Waitrose is closed but home deliveries are still taking place.
Aaron Powell, centre manager at Ryemarket Shopping Centre said: “Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the victims involved in the incident that occurred yesterday in Stourbridge town centre.
“We expect to receive further updates from the Police force on their ongoing investigations and the cordons in place surrounding the adjoining car park and we hope to then provide a further update on when we are able to reopen the Centre to shoppers. Customers will be able to find any updates by visiting our social media pages.
