THE soon-to-open Stourbridge Glass Museum has been offering people a sneak preview of the long anticipated attraction.
The museum, which it is hoped will become world famous like its predecessor Broadfield House Glass Museum, is set to officially open its doors to the public on Saturday April 9.
Ahead of the big launch, people in the area were invited to sneak a peek inside in a series of tours of Saturday March 26.
The purpose-created facility, in Camp Hill, Wordsley, located opposite the Red House Glass Cone, will showcase the borough's prized glass collection, comprising some of the finest 18th, 19th and 20th century pieces of glass in the world.
The pieces have all been in storage since the closure of the internationally renowned Broadfield House Glass Museum back in Kingswinford in 2015 and the British Glass Foundation has been working to create the new world class facility since 2010.
