New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to a restaurant, takeaway and pub in Dudley, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

El Sabor De La Bobita at 95 Wolverhampton Street, Dudley; was rated 4 on April 5.

The New Inn pub at 117 High Street, Wordsley, was rated 3 on April 5.

Joe's Plaice at 73 Alexandra Road, Halesowen; was rated 1 on April 5.

The FSA rates businesses from zero to five so that customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.

A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.

People can see the results of all food hygiene inspections at eateries across the Dudley borough via Dudley Council’s website or on the national website.
