A TEENAGE motorbike rider has suffered serious injuries in a crash in Dudley.
The accident happened at the junction of Tansey Hill Avenue and Oakham Road at around 5.18pm yesterday (Tuesday May 24).
A motorbike and a car crashed leaving the teenaged bike rider with serious injuries.
He was treated at the scene by medics before being taken to the QE hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike at the junction of Tansey Hill Avenue and Oakham Road at 5.18pm on Tuesday.
"Two ambulances and a MERIT trauma doctor attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered a teenage male, who was the motorcyclist, who had suffered serious injuries in the collision.
"Following treatment at the scene, he was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham for further treatment."
