A DUDLEY man has been given a suspended prison sentence after breaching a restraining order and stealing Easter eggs and a parcel.
Marc Kirby, of Sedgley Road, admitted attending an address in Tipton on April 22 which he was prohibited from doing so by a restraining order.
The 38-year-old also pleaded guilty to stealing an Asda parcel valued at £131 on the same date, and to the theft of nine Easter eggs from the Co-op store in Sedgley Road, Dudley, on April 7.
He was given jail terms totalling 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for the three offences and a 12-month period of supervision with a rehabilitation activity requirement.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay compensation of £45 for the theft of the Easter eggs and to pay compensation of £131 for the theft of the parcel when sentencing him at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on May 21.
