A DUDLEY woman has been hit with a £260 court bill after admitting speeding on the A451 at Kidderminster.

Joanne Taylor, of Viewfield Crescent, pleaded guilty to exceeding the 30mph speed limit on Stourbridge Road on August 13, 2021.

Court papers say the 45-year-old had been driving at 50mph and added: “The speed limit was signified by street lighting placed at less than 200 yard intervals.”

She was fined £226 when sentenced at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on Monday June 27, and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34. Her driving record was also endorsed with four points.
