A FORMER Brierley Hill nursery has been put up for auction, with a guide price of £190,000.

Brotherhood Hall, which was home to Early Years Day Nursery, is set to go under the hammer at the next Bond Wolfe Auctions sale later this month.

Sales particulars say the vacant freehold property in Trinity Street may be suitable for conversion to a residential property, subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents.

A spokesperson for Bond Wolfe Auctions said: “Previously used as a nursery, there is the potential to convert the building (subject to consent) into 5 flats to include 4 two bed flats and 1 one bed flat, for which proposed plans have been produced by an architect.”

The 3,025sqft property consists of space on the ground floor including a large trade area with various store rooms and a reception and kitchen, and the first floor comprises further trade space and several rooms suitable for storage.

The auction will take place at Holte Suite, Aston Villa FC, Trinity Road, Birmingham, on Thursday July 21, from 9.30am, and it will also be live streamed on the Bond Wolfe Auctions website.
