A DUDLEY man has been handed a community order and hit with a court bill of £295 for breaching a non-molestation order.

Shane Wilkins, of Shaw Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a non-molestation order issued by Wolverhampton Family Court on September 17, 2021.

The 32-year-old made unwanted calls between September 22 and 25, 2021, and attended an address in Lye on December 19, 2021, which he was prohibited from doing under the terms of the order.

He was given a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and an eight-week curfew - to remain at home between 9pm and 7am.

A restraining order was also issued and an order to pay costs of £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £95 surcharge to fund victim services when he was sentenced at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on Monday August 1.
