A POPULAR pub in St John's is "absolutely delighted" to be in the top ten for the Worcester News Best Pub award.
We asked our readers to nominate their favourite pub in Worcester, and The Bell Inn, in St John's, is one of our ten finalists.
Owner Guy Stephenson and manager Angela Freeman are at the helm of the pub, and said they were extremely happy with the news.
A spokesperson for the pub said a customer came in and broke the good news to the team.
"We are all really happy. We actually had a customer come running in one day telling us and we were all over the moon with the news."
The next step in the competition is to vote for your favourite.
To do this, you will need to collect the tokens that will be printed in the Worcester News every day until Saturday, August 13.
You can either post the tokens to the address listed below or drop them in at your chosen pub.
We’ll tot them all up at the end of the promotion and will announce the winning pub on Thursday, August 25.
