Wayne Davies, of Boundary Crescent, pleaded guilty to a charge of stalking a woman in Wolverhampton between February 5 and March 18 by making unwanted calls and sending texts as well as driving past the woman’s work place and home address.
The 59-year-old was given a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement plus a requirement to carry out unpaid work for 80 hours over the next 12 months.
He was also given a restraining order banning from contacting his victim directly or indirectly.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay compensation of £250 when sentencing him at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday August 15.
