ANGRY parents are set to descend on Dudley Council tomorrow evening (Wednesday March 26) to protest against education officials "abandoning" plans for Holly Hall Mathematics and Computing College to become an academy.
The parents are set to attend the Select Committee on Children's Services after Dudley Council last week dropped exciting plans for Holly Hall, just three months after proposing and publicising the school as an academy.
The loss of the academy status has resulted in the school losing £2 million worth of funding, all sourced by the school's Headteacher, Graham Lloyd.
