FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Lower Gornal sandwich shop after a steamer ran dry.
The incident happened at Mrs B's sandwich bar and deli on Louise Street at around 9.24pm last night (Monday January 16).
Meat was being cooked in a steamer, when it ran dry, causing the premises to become full of steam.
A fire crew from Dudley attended.
They helped air the property and gave safety advice, leaving at 9.47pm.
The fire engine blocked the road for a short time.
